Marketplace liability limitations

Lapa.shop reserves the right to:
decline to facilitate the reservation or sell a pet to a buyer without providing a reason, if no deposit has yet been made;
refuse cooperation with a breeder if there are no outstanding obligations between the breeder and the marketplace regarding existing purchases;
disclaim responsibility for the accuracy of information posted on the website if that information was provided by the breeder. The breeder (seller) bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the content;
only be responsible for facilitating the sales process (with the strict exception of Buyers residing in England, for whom the Marketplace acts solely as a free informational platform), including:
accepting a deposit and payment from the buyer (excluding Buyers residing in England);
reserving the pet for the specific buyer (excluding transactions with Buyers residing in England);
refunding the deposit if delivery becomes impossible due to circumstances on the part of Lapa.shop;
refunding the deposit in cases of force majeure related to the service.
Disclaimer in specific cases

Lapa.shop shall not be held liable to the buyer in the following cases:
when a Buyer from England enters into a direct purchase agreement with a Breeder; Lapa.shop assumes no liability or involvement in such transactions, as we do not act as an agent, intermediary, or payment facilitator for sales within England;
the buyer arranges their own delivery or uses a courier service that is not recommended by Lapa.shop;
the buyer contacts the breeder directly and makes individual arrangements (such as delivery terms, health testing, or special procedures) that have not been confirmed by the Lapa.shop administration;
the buyer disregards the guidance of Lapa.shop specialists regarding pet care, leading to health or behavioural issues;
the pet undergoes a procedure such as declawing (“soft paws”);
there are other animals in the buyer’s home, causing stress-related behavioural problems in the newly arrived pet.
Lapa.shop is not responsible for enforcing private agreements made directly between a buyer and breeder if such agreements were not confirmed in writing by Lapa.shop.
Scope of Lapa.shop’s responsibility is limited to:

publishing breeder-provided information on the website;
providing this information to interested buyers;
managing the deposit process and reserving pets (excluding transactions with Buyers residing in England);
issuing a refund in case of force majeure or failure to deliver the pet;
retaining the deposit for the breeder in case the buyer cancels the purchase;
accepting full payment from the buyer on behalf of the breeder (excluding transactions with Buyers residing in England);
organizing delivery through in-house couriers or courier partners working with the marketplace (if applicable and legally permitted).

							Frederik, my child from Lapa, Maine Coon Kitty I know what you're thinking, I had the same thought... It's a scam. I'm happy to say, It isn't. After my beloved child Twix died, the house felt empty, a strange echo of everything squeaking filled the house, I was devastated and everyday I was reminded I'm alone. After a quick search on the web I found Lapa and it seemed too good to be true. Searching the validity of the site took a couple of days where some comments from people offering their opinions regarding red flags made sense...but in my grief I still tried. On Lapa's site I found my perfect partner. I was contacted immediately by one of the Managers, (Olga, thank you for putting up with my distrust and fulfilling all my requests). The discussion went in a warm and professional manner where all my questions were answered. The payment was splitted in 2 parts, one for reservation, where I received a certificate of reservation and the other before Frederik left from the shipping country. What can I say, it was a long wait for him (because they can leave their mommy after minimum 4 months) where I received countless updates, more times without even asking. Olga urged me to establish a video call with the breeder, when my paranoia was going too far, I refused every time as I'm somehow a private person. I received all medical documentation of the parents and from Frederik, also with videos from the vet...every video that I asked for, to clear my doubts were sent in no more than 8-12h. You will see that the transport has to be paid separately and I understand why...most of the people will say that's a red flag, that also wasn't one, Frederik arrived safely with a professional transport team (driver + babysitter), he arrived clean and chill, with food and they let me keep the transport case also. I know I'm writing a lot, but I want to make sure that my amazing experience getting Frederik - Main Coon kitty from Lapa, reaches you all in the most transparent way. The Pedigree certificate was sent to me in digital form, and a few days later I received via post the original copy. 5 stars for everything, from the website construction, payment methods, communication with Lapa, delivery...to after purchase experience where Olga seems genuinely happy to receive photos with Frederik in his new home. What started as a doubtful decision, ended up in the best one I have made to get united with my partner in life, Frederik. 							Five stars all the way Five stars all the way. We are located in South Carolina, USA. We purchased two purebred Maine coon kittens through this company. Hands down highly recommend an exceptional experience. Our main form of communication was through WhatsApp as it was international. Always responded thoroughly within less than 24 hours to all messaging even given the time change. We asked lots of questions as we were getting two kittens from different breeders with the intention of breeding them ourselves. They answered all of our many many questions with no problems. We made payments through PayPal with no issues. They provided video and pictures several times of the kittens while we waited for them to be old enough to ship internationally. We reserved them when they were about a month away from being able to be old enough to fly. Yulia and The international courier company was astounding that they had us work with for the trip. The kittens were safely and healthy moved and taken care of by the breeders. We were given video evidence of this. We were given video footage of the kittens upon arriving just prior to their travel date when they met each other for the first time and just before they traveled together. The airline was very responsible. No issues with the travel. Yulia, The representative we spoke with directly also through WhatsApp regarding the travel arrangements was also again very helpful and responsive and friendly and coordinated everything for us and kept of informed every step and Answering all of my questions. The local agent, Britnei, that we met in person at our nearest major international airport was friendly and had lots of experience in getting the paperwork and the kittens cleared with all the paperwork. All we had to do was pick out our kittens, make our payments, choose our dates for arrival and show up at the airport. It was a seamless experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be getting more in the future. As of writing, this, we have had our kittens for over six weeks. They are both beautiful, extremely wonderful and healthy kittens and already part of the family.

							Has bought the Neva masquerade cat I looked for a Siberian kitten for a year before adopting my kitten. I had one "breeder" in the US try to scam me. Others I spoke to had long wait lists. I liked being able to see pictures and video of the kittens instead of getting on a waiting list, not knowing when I would get a kitten, etc. Ruslan was extremely helpful with the entire process of getting my kitten. He answered any questions I had and made the process really easy. He sent updated pictures of my kitten when I inquired about her. When my vet checked her vaccinations and microchip based on her passport, everything was good. There was one vaccination that required multiple injections that she still needed one shot of. Other than that, everything was done. My vet said that she was perfectly healthy. Her breed is exactly like I expected. I had done a lot of research prior to choosing her breed. I love her funny antics. Many articles I read said that Siberians are the dogs of the cat world. She is so curious. Ellie even plays fetch with us. It is so cute and hilarious to watch her. She is very playful with us and her toys, likes to play with water, is great in the bath, doesn't mind being groomed; she has the behaviors that I expected from my research. 							Maine coon kitten: from Ukraine to Poland When our beloved cat passed away, we decided that filling the hole in our hearts with a new kitten was not the worst idea. We currently live in Poland, and honestly, choosing a kitten here is not that easy: you have to examine OLX, open announcements, usually with low-quality photos and lots of missing information, like breeder name, contact info, medical documents, date of birth, etc. You have to spend hours choosing a kitten, contacting each breeder individually, and building a relationship with each of them. And you still have to think about the delivery. Lapa Shop was a revelation for me: an easy-to-use website with filters (so I could filter only male Maine Coons, which was impossible on OLX), quality photos, tons of info on each of the kittens, and most importantly, really quick feedback from the team, sending new actual photos and videos of kittens we liked. In general, the process from the first message to the kitten's arrival from Ukraine to Poland took 2 weeks (and this included recovery from castration). I got recommendations on which breeders are better and more reliable, and I received answers to all my questions. Delivery was organized without my effort; all I needed to do was provide the address—and that's it. Having seen the kitten Crowley on your website, we realized at first glance that he was our boy. Kittens of this breed are active, friendly, playful, loving, with a strong psyche. They are also described as "cat-dogs", loyal, meek, with high intelligence and a tendency to learn commands. Our kitten fully meets every characteristic of the breed. He is gentle and loving, he has become a loyal companion for me, pleasantly surprising me with the speed of assimilation and learning of commands and a really strong psyche, which is very important in our time. Meek towards our other cats, he loves to wash them and does not ignore games with both other pets and people. An incredibly beautiful, gentle giant. Moderately active, moderately calm, not inclined to harm in any way. He loves to walk in the backyard, and in general it should be noted that these cats do not belong in a studio apartment or in a small house: they need space. Maine Coons are also purrs and love to talk, but it is difficult to call their meow obsessive or annoying, these sounds are not loud, but rather, soothe and evoke pleasant emotions. 							Has bought the Maine Coon We have two Maine Coons and what can I say: if you've got this cat, it's a lifelong love. And rarely do you have just one Maine Coon. It’s a cat-dog. It chooses its person and becomes their other half . It's very friendly with other family members too, lies in laps, and cuddles, but with its person, it's a whole different level . These cats get along very well with small children (like dogs) and other animals. Though they do like to hunt smaller creatures. I have never noticed any vengefulness in them. They are always welcoming, follow you around, love to talk with people, and always respond. When I come home, they're already waiting by the door, like dogs. Overall, these are very intelligent, relatively calm, very good companion cats. Not suitable for those with allergies to fur. There's a lot of fur in the apartment. But compared to the benefits this family member brings, the fur is a minor issue. Such a tail! And the size! You pick them up and it's like having a medium-sized dog.

							Such A Incredible Company And Service I first became aware of Lapa.Shop whilst searching for a Munchkin kitten here in the UK, which I soon discovered was more difficult than I imagined it would be. I am from Moldova and it was very difficult for me to find in Ukraine a poodle puppy with specific non-standard parameters - black, large miniature, etc. е. is not at all fashionable. There are many ads on the internet, and it takes a lot of time to check each seller. While the craftsman did a great job to craft a perfect wheel for us, 180cm in diameter, Lapa always communicated with us so we were always up to date. We could choose the color of the wood and the color of the carpet. We got photos and video when the wheel was done. The parts of the wheel arrived to us in a very good condition. We bought a wheel to assemble. All parts were properly wrapped. Assembling was a bit tricky but not that difficult. After assembling we showed our cats the wheel. With the wheel we also got a laser pointer as a gift to help them getting used to the wheel. It will need some time to train them using the wheel, but at least they are not scared of it and we can lure them into it with the laser pointer and even when the wheel starts to turn, they don't leave it in panic.
