Frederik, my child from Lapa, Maine Coon Kitty I know what you're thinking, I had the same thought... It's a scam. I'm happy to say, It isn't. After my beloved child Twix died, the house felt empty, a strange echo of everything squeaking filled the house, I was devastated and everyday I was reminded I'm alone. After a quick search on the web I found Lapa and it seemed too good to be true. Searching the validity of the site took a couple of days where some comments from people offering their opinions regarding red flags made sense...but in my grief I still tried. On Lapa's site I found my perfect partner. I was contacted immediately by one of the Managers, (Olga, thank you for putting up with my distrust and fulfilling all my requests). The discussion went in a warm and professional manner where all my questions were answered. The payment was splitted in 2 parts, one for reservation, where I received a certificate of reservation and the other before Frederik left from the shipping country. What can I say, it was a long wait for him (because they can leave their mommy after minimum 4 months) where I received countless updates, more times without even asking. Olga urged me to establish a video call with the breeder, when my paranoia was going too far, I refused every time as I'm somehow a private person. I received all medical documentation of the parents and from Frederik, also with videos from the vet...every video that I asked for, to clear my doubts were sent in no more than 8-12h. You will see that the transport has to be paid separately and I understand why...most of the people will say that's a red flag, that also wasn't one, Frederik arrived safely with a professional transport team (driver + babysitter), he arrived clean and chill, with food and they let me keep the transport case also. I know I'm writing a lot, but I want to make sure that my amazing experience getting Frederik - Main Coon kitty from Lapa, reaches you all in the most transparent way. The Pedigree certificate was sent to me in digital form, and a few days later I received via post the original copy. 5 stars for everything, from the website construction, payment methods, communication with Lapa, delivery...to after purchase experience where Olga seems genuinely happy to receive photos with Frederik in his new home. What started as a doubtful decision, ended up in the best one I have made to get united with my partner in life, Frederik. Five stars all the way Five stars all the way. We are located in South Carolina, USA. We purchased two purebred Maine coon kittens through this company. Hands down highly recommend an exceptional experience. Our main form of communication was through WhatsApp as it was international. Always responded thoroughly within less than 24 hours to all messaging even given the time change. We asked lots of questions as we were getting two kittens from different breeders with the intention of breeding them ourselves. They answered all of our many many questions with no problems. We made payments through PayPal with no issues. They provided video and pictures several times of the kittens while we waited for them to be old enough to ship internationally. We reserved them when they were about a month away from being able to be old enough to fly. Yulia and The international courier company was astounding that they had us work with for the trip. The kittens were safely and healthy moved and taken care of by the breeders. We were given video evidence of this. We were given video footage of the kittens upon arriving just prior to their travel date when they met each other for the first time and just before they traveled together. The airline was very responsible. No issues with the travel. Yulia, The representative we spoke with directly also through WhatsApp regarding the travel arrangements was also again very helpful and responsive and friendly and coordinated everything for us and kept of informed every step and Answering all of my questions. The local agent, Britnei, that we met in person at our nearest major international airport was friendly and had lots of experience in getting the paperwork and the kittens cleared with all the paperwork. All we had to do was pick out our kittens, make our payments, choose our dates for arrival and show up at the airport. It was a seamless experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be getting more in the future. As of writing, this, we have had our kittens for over six weeks. They are both beautiful, extremely wonderful and healthy kittens and already part of the family.

Has bought the Neva masquerade cat I looked for a Siberian kitten for a year before adopting my kitten. I had one "breeder" in the US try to scam me. Others I spoke to had long wait lists. Maine coon kitten: from Ukraine to Poland When our beloved cat passed away, we decided that filling the hole in our hearts with a new kitten was not the worst idea. We currently live in Poland, and honestly, choosing a kitten here is not that easy: you have to examine OLX, open announcements, usually with low-quality photos and lots of missing information, like breeder name, contact info, medical documents, date of birth, etc. You have to spend hours choosing a kitten, contacting each breeder individually, and building a relationship with each of them. And you still have to think about the delivery. Lapa Shop was a revelation for me: an easy-to-use website with filters (so I could filter only male Maine Coons, which was impossible on OLX), quality photos, tons of info on each of the kittens, and most importantly, really quick feedback from the team, sending new actual photos and videos of kittens we liked. In general, the process from the first message to the kitten's arrival from Ukraine to Poland took 2 weeks (and this included recovery from castration). Having seen the kitten Crowley on your website, we realized at first glance that he was our boy. Kittens of this breed are active, friendly, playful, loving, with a strong psyche. They are also described as "cat-dogs", loyal, meek, with high intelligence and a tendency to learn commands. Our kitten fully meets every characteristic of the breed. He is gentle and loving, he has become a loyal companion for me, pleasantly surprising me with the speed of assimilation and learning of commands and a really strong psyche, which is very important in our time. Meek towards our other cats, he loves to wash them and does not ignore games with both other pets and people. An incredibly beautiful, gentle giant. Moderately active, moderately calm, not inclined to harm in any way. He loves to walk in the backyard, and in general it should be noted that these cats do not belong in a studio apartment or in a small house: they need space. Has bought the Maine Coon We have two Maine Coons and what can I say: if you've got this cat, it's a lifelong love. And rarely do you have just one Maine Coon. It’s a cat-dog. It chooses its person and becomes their other half . It's very friendly with other family members too, lies in laps, and cuddles, but with its person, it's a whole different level . These cats get along very well with small children (like dogs) and other animals. Though they do like to hunt smaller creatures. I have never noticed any vengefulness in them. They are always welcoming, follow you around, love to talk with people, and always respond. When I come home, they're already waiting by the door, like dogs. Overall, these are very intelligent, relatively calm, very good companion cats. Not suitable for those with allergies to fur. There's a lot of fur in the apartment. But compared to the benefits this family member brings, the fur is a minor issue. Such a tail! And the size! You pick them up and it's like having a medium-sized dog.

There are many ads on the internet, and it takes a lot of time to check each seller. While the craftsman did a great job to craft a perfect wheel for us, 180cm in diameter, Lapa always communicated with us so we were always up to date. We could choose the color of the wood and the color of the carpet. We got photos and video when the wheel was done. The parts of the wheel arrived to us in a very good condition. We bought a wheel to assemble. All parts were properly wrapped. Assembling was a bit tricky but not that difficult. After assembling we showed our cats the wheel. With the wheel we also got a laser pointer as a gift to help them getting used to the wheel. It will need some time to train them using the wheel, but at least they are not scared of it and we can lure them into it with the laser pointer and even when the wheel starts to turn, they don't leave it in panic. Thank you Lapa and the craftsman for your incredible service. It all started on 17th of September and It arrived on the 26th of October, over 60 emails between us, very helpful in every step and trustworthy. We can clearly recommend.

After losing our precious cream point persian in October this year, we were struggling to find anywhere in the UK that bred this type of persian. So I decided to check Europe. We found lapa. And how lucky we were that we did. From the start of the conversation in November, they have been very helpful, with updates, videos and also advise on what to feed etc. There were no issues with payments going through, as they were able to send me a link to pay by card. They gave me the transporters phone nunber to contact on day of departure, where they will send you updates via video of your pet. It took around 5 half days to the UK from Ukraine. I was worried he would be stressed, however upon arrival, he was just desperate to get out of his carrier. Once inside the house, he settled straight away, playing and purring. Would i recommend lapa, absolutely, if you are considering buying a breed from Europe you can 100% trust laoa. I cant thank you enough for all you have done. And finding the best breeders. Will definitely use you again.

Many thanks for lapashop crew to make it happen and specially breeder for great raising. In this journey where we decided to get a puppy from overseas there was occationally flaws with communication. I don't know if it is lack of my english knowledge or what. Maybe stupid questions too. But this was our first time and we wanted to know everything. Who doesn't? Sure i wanted to know that everything is well and healthy. And if i were a breeder i wouldn't sell to a buyer who is not interested at all. In the end, we got everything we needed. We agreed transportation to Finland, but when it was time to pick up puppy the transportation could not be arranged to Finland and we had to get it from Estonia. As we did not want to wait any longer. Rehoming went 2 weeks over already. If we ever get a puppy in the future, we will seriously consider Lapashop again.

They are very intelligent and friendly cats. They are moderately independent but not at all aggressive; on the contrary, they are loving. Boni chose me as her favorite owner, but she also gets along well with others in the family. She and my daughter are buddies and mischief-makers; Boni allows hugs, strokes, and kisses. We say she is our little stress reliever. She's not picky about food; the main thing is to take good care of her. She eats only holistic food, which we stick to. The only thing future owners should be prepared for (if they don't already know): these cats are large and having a lot of fur on your clothes is guaranteed.

They are playful and love attention, but they decide how long it will last. They are very curious: they will climb into every accessible place without causing any harm. If they are accustomed to a litter box and scratching post from an early age, they are very disciplined. As a large breed, it's preferable to have space where the cat can run around. They have long fur: they hardly shed because they groom themselves well, but it is advisable to brush them daily. They enjoy it. Having previously owned Scottish Folds/Straights, Neva Masquerade, and Egyptian cats, I can say as a Maine Coon owner that it's an incredible breed. Despite their predatory appearance, you get a gentle, playful companion who spends most of their time with you. I definitely recommend it.

Wall-mounted cat wheel Recently bought a running wheel from Lapa, cats are satisfied :) Communication with the manager was super clear and there is an option to choose different options for colors/size of the wheel. Took about 10 days to manufacture and deliver, has better quality than the other wheels I had before (no open wood joints for example), was simple to assemble, and it's perfectly silent compared to a floor wheel (most important for when the cat decides that 3am is the best time to GALLOP — was actually the primary reason for a new wheel) They also put a laser pointer in the package, I assume to train the cats to use the wheel. Mine already knew what to do, but still a cool extra :)

Best decision I ever made!! After being scammed a couple of times by “breeders” in the USA, I decided to take a chance with Lapa and it was the best decision I could have made! I was very nervous since they were over seas but that went away very quickly with how they handled everything. I was able to do video calls with them to see the kittens and after that they stayed in contact and still even check in to see how the kitten are. The two Maine Coon breeders who I got both my kittens from gave me all the information I needed when it came to feeding and taking care of them. Even with the language difference they did very well.

Despite the long fur, this is the only cat breed that can be kept by people prone to allergies (I've heard this from more than one doctor). One notable feature is the size, so the litter box needs to be large, otherwise there can be problems. There should also be grooming care; you can take them to a groomer once a month. I definitely recommend this breed!
