You can order delivery of your cat or dog on the Lapa.shop website, even if you bought it somewhere else or need to reunite with your pet in another country.
Deliveries for Lapa are handled by licensed private couriers. We do our best to protect you from fraud, which is why we strongly advise against contacting unverified couriers on your own!
Delivery is not included in the price of the pet and is paid separately. The cost of delivery is set by couriers. The price depends on various factors: distance, the complexity of the route, the number of pets traveling together, the required set of documents, and the rules for importing pets in the country of delivery.
The delivery price already includes the paperwork required to cross the border. Transportation over a short distance, for example, in Europe, is carried out by car. For other continents, kittens and puppies are transported by air. Therefore, the price is additionally affected by airline rates and conditions.
Currently, all flights from Ukraine have been canceled due to russian aggression and war. This makes the process of long-distance delivery more complicated and expensive. First, a kitten or puppy must be taken to one of the European countries. From there, it can travel by plane to its new home. The delivery price already includes the paperwork required to cross the border.

Delivery of Kittens and Puppies by Car to European Countries
If you need to bring a kitten or puppy from Ukraine to one of the European countries, the delivery is made by a courier in his own car. Delivery is performed by professional couriers specializing in the transportation of pets. Couriers do their best to minimize the stress of moving. They put a kitten or puppy in a comfortable box and wrap it in a cover so that the pet is less afraid. Your pet is fed and cared for during the journey. Kittens and puppies travel in the cabin or luggage compartment of a car with heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. Once the pet is handed over to the courier, he is fully responsible for its condition and health.

For long-distance trips, pets are transported by plane according to airline and courier service rates. Kittens and puppies usually travel in a special cargo hold designed for animals. It is also possible to arrange in-cabin transport with a personal courier accompanying your pet. Contact us to check if this option is available for your route.
Most kittens and puppies handle air travel well when transported in the designated animal compartment. The exception is brachycephalic breeds with shortened muzzles (such as Persian and Exotic cats, or dogs like Pugs, Bulldogs, and others). Some airlines prohibit transporting these breeds altogether. Therefore, before purchasing a brachycephalic kitten or puppy, we recommend checking whether air transport to your country is possible. You can also confirm this with us directly.

Delivery of a kitten or puppy from Ukraine to the Middle East, East, or Southeast Asia is carried out by air to a major airport that accepts international flights. Keep in mind that many Asian countries have complicated rules regarding the importation of pets. In particular, it is necessary to obtain an import permit, and do tests for rabies antibodies, which takes up to 3 months of additional waiting. And in some cases, a kitten or puppy must endure a long quarantine upon arrival. Before you buy a pet from Ukraine, find out the requirements of your local legislation.
